Last updated: May 6, 2026. This policy covers both Kinea (stretching & mobility) and Kinea Go (activity tracking). We keep things simple and transparent.
Section 01
We collect account details you provide (such as email), basic profile information, app usage data (such as completed routines and streaks), and subscription status data needed to provide premium access.
Kinea Go additionally collects: GPS and route data recorded during active workouts, activity data (type, distance, duration, pace, elevation, and heart rate where available), group membership and challenge participation, and workout history imported from Samsung Health or Android Health Connect when you choose to sync.
Section 02
We use your data to provide and improve Kinea features, sync progress across devices, personalise routines, send reminders you enable, and support account and billing operations.
Section 03
When you purchase subscriptions on Android, payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not store full card numbers. We may receive subscription metadata from Google (such as product, purchase token status, start date, and renewal/cancellation state) to validate access and manage premium features.
Section 03a
Kinea Go uses your device's GPS to record routes during active workouts. Location access is only used while you are actively recording an activity — we do not track your location in the background. Route and location data is stored in your Kinea Go account on Firebase and is not shared with third parties. You can delete your activity history at any time by contacting support or deleting your account.
Section 03b
Kinea Go can import your recent workout history from Samsung Health or Android Health Connect if you grant permission. This sync is entirely user-initiated — no data is read automatically. Imported activity data (type, duration, distance, calories) is stored in your Kinea Go account to populate your history and challenge progress. We do not write data back to Samsung Health or Health Connect. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
Section 04
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers that help us operate the app (for example authentication, cloud storage, analytics, and crash reporting), under contractual obligations to protect your data.
Section 05
We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Section 06
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Section 07
You can update account information, turn off reminders, and request account deletion by contacting support. Depending on your region, you may have additional privacy rights.
Section 08
Kinea is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the legal age threshold.
Section 09
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by other appropriate means.
