Acceptance of Terms

By using Kinea or Kinea Go, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the apps.

Section 02

Eligibility and Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

Section 03

Health Disclaimer

Kinea provides general fitness and stretching information, and Kinea Go provides activity tracking tools. Neither app provides medical advice. Consult a qualified professional before starting any exercise programme, especially if you have existing medical conditions or injuries. Outdoor activities tracked by Kinea Go (such as running or cycling) carry inherent risks — you are solely responsible for your safety.

Section 04

Subscriptions and Billing (Google Play)

Premium subscriptions purchased on Android are processed through Google Play Billing. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Google Play account settings. Pricing, taxes, trial eligibility, and billing terms are shown in Google Play at purchase time.

Section 04a

Kinea Go — Activity Tracking

Kinea Go is free to download and use. The following terms apply specifically to Kinea Go:

• GPS & Location: Kinea Go requests location permission to record your route during activities. Location is only accessed while actively recording and is never collected in the background.
• Activity Data: Workouts you record (or import) are saved to your Kinea Go account on Firebase. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
• Samsung Health & Health Connect: With your explicit permission, Kinea Go can import recent workout history from Samsung Health or Android Health Connect. This sync is user-initiated only. You can revoke access in your device settings at any time.
• Groups & Challenges: Participating in group challenges means limited activity data (activity type, duration) may be visible to other group members.
• No Subscription Required: Kinea Go is a free app with no in-app purchases or subscriptions at this time.

Section 05

Refunds

For Google Play purchases, refunds are handled according to Google Play policies and may need to be requested through Google.

Section 06

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with app operation, or violate applicable laws.

Section 07

Intellectual Property

The app, including its content, branding, and software, is owned by Kinea or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Section 08

Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Section 09

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kinea is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

Section 10

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if required for legal, security, or operational reasons.

Section 11

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
